i feel like I'M the one in kindergarten.

it just took over an hour for my kindergartener to write ONE sentence for her school project.  my right eyelid is now twitching.  say it with me now......."seriously?!?!?!"

if i hear that song ONE more time........

if i were zac brown's (heck if i know if that's his real name) girlfriend/wife/boyfriend i would be like, "really?  that's how you feel?  that's the best you could do?"  i'm a country music fan, but lately there have just been waaaaay too many songs that just simply tick me off:  "who are you when i'm not looking?" by blake shelton, "only prettier" by miranda lambert, "the breath you take" by george strait (who i usually love), and, of course, "whatever it is" by zac brown band.  the minute these songs come on the radio i dive for the off button.  i honestly think when a song annoys me so much it's usually because i can't really understand the words as they mumble through the song, it's too repetative, or toooo sloooow and mind numbing.  however, zac brown says to his listeners that (we suppose it's a woman) the woman he's talking about just simply has "whatever it is...." that makes him love her.  um...seriously??  how unromantic.  you can't be just a tad bit more specific?  is it her charisma?  her spunk?  her laughter?  her warm heart?  her sexy body?  i mean, pick something!  if my husband said, "hey hun, you just got whatever it is that makes me wanna be with you."  i'd be like, "oh really?  sounds to me like you're just trying to get laid."  

something to do.

let's face it....i need something to do.  the hubby is in the marine corps, two out of three kids are in school, and hanging out with a 3 year old all day CAN be fun, but some days i just want something else to do.  it might take me 5 minutes to sit down and post something or it could turn into an hour.  the bottom line is that i just decided to do it.....blog.  eeeeek!!!!!  while i'm driving around town with my kids, watching tv, out shopping, listening to music, or just people watching there are often times where i look and around and think to myself, "seriously?!.....or apparently my preference (i'm told) is, "really?!"  i know you do it too, don't deny it.  well, i'm gonna type about it.  boring?  maybe.  funny?  maybe.  stupid?  i don't care!  hopfully i can keep this up and have something to take my mind off of things once in a while.  unfortunately, the exact time i decided to create this blog is only 20 minutes away from the time i need to pick up kids #1 and #2 from school!  seriously?!  guess it's all about timing, isn't it?.......
